- Gunmanship - A firearm will be essential in self-defense and self-preservation. Being able to maintain and use your firearm effectively could be the difference in whether you survive or not.
-Hunting - Once all of the food has been looted being able to hunt can be essential in acquiring food. Being able to catch and kill an animal will aid in your survival.
-Gutting An Animal - If you manage to catch and kill an animal knowing how to gut it will allow you to cook the meat properly for safe consumption.

- Flashlight - Without lights during the night, it will be difficult to work. A flashlight also allows you to see in dark buildings.

- Crossbow - A crossbow has reusable ammunition. If bullets run low, a crossbow can be the best option for hunting
- Fishing Rod - A fishing rod gives you access to a very useful food source. Without a fishing rod fishing becomes more difficult than its worth.
- Compass - A compass is an essential tool in navigating your surrounding area. A compass allows you to explore without getting lost.
- Reusable Match - Reusable matches can be good for over a thousand strikes. Matches are an easy and reliable way of starting a fire.
- Bike - A bike allows you to travel farther and faster than traveling by foot. A bike expands how far you can leave you camp and can be used to carry large loads of supplies
Potential Dangers
- Thieves - With no way to contact law enforcement thieves will be a large threat to your survival.
- Wild Animals - Without the loud noise from machines and cars, wild animals will appear more often in towns and cities.
- Zoo Animals - With the zoo's shutting down the dangerous animals within them may escape.
- Decaying Buildings - As time passes buildings will start to decay with no one maintaining them, resulting in collapses.
- Stress - Fighting day in and out for survival can be very stressful, stress can hinder decision making and can lead to mental illness.
- Hypothermia - Depending on where you reside, the outside temperature can reach dangerous lows leading to hypothermia.
- Sickness - Without hospitals simply getting sick can be dangerous without knowing what sickness you have.
- Poisonous Berries - Some may elect to eat berries when they run low on food; however, some berries can be lethal.
